Mark Lorrell

 Mark Lorrell

In 2007 I took my PADI open water certificate on holiday in Thailand.  Mark Lorrel qualification dive was in the Japanese Garden in Ko Tao.  An absolutely stunning reef, and island, a vision of peace and tranquillity.

 Mark Lorrell

Shortly after Mark Lorrel. decided I wanted to do a lot more diving.  I went to Sharm El Sheikh where I did my advanced, and rescue diver shortly Mark Lorrel after and my Master Scuba diver the following year.Mark Lorrel.

To me diving is one of the most amazing things you can do.  It has two appeals, the safari type appeal of visiting reefs and observing the amazing habitats that’s exist in the sea, and the other is the thrill of weightlessness and the affect you can get like flying as you descend onto a reef.  You can move in three dimensions.  Where I dive the weather is always hot and the water bath like.  All in all I find it hard to find so many appealing aspects of a sport (although not technically a sport as your told not to use energy) in one event.Mark Lorrel.

 Mark Lorrell

But of all of these aspects of diving you cannot prepare yourself for the first time you come face to face with a fish or mammal the size of a London bus.Mark Lorrel.

Before I was into diving I also loved photography.  It did not take long before I purchased my first Gates housing for my then Sony video camcorder.  I do not recall since, descending into the depths without a camera in hand.  I am sure if I did I would have the most amazing Mark Lorrel experience but as tempted as I have been to dive without my camera at the last minute I always grab it.Mark Lorrel.

I have put together the most memorable moments of my short amateur diving career and whilst many of them may be common events to most divers they remain the experiences in my mind that are the most memorable and enjoyable whilst diving.Mark Lorrel..

Art

When Mark Lorrel.was 7 my parents were called up to the school to be told I should pursue a career in art.  Mark Lorrel.recall I have painted an event I just witnessed being a joust, yes knights and castles, at the Tower of London.  A tourist event I went to with my auntie who was visiting from USA.

I never did pursue that career, but I have always painted for fun.  My art is also on Saatchi Art (for sale at unreasonably high prices hoping not to sell it) but it is just done to entertain myself.  I do not paint a lot.  I have never been taught but I enjoy it.  My favourite art is here for you to see. Don’t get too excited I am not that good.

Law

Before my career as a lawyer Mark Lorrel.was the managing director of PLC fashion company based in Camden, in London.  We designed and sold clothing to every major retailer in the UK from Harrods & Harvey Nicks to Mothercare and C&A.  We designed everything from brands and clothing shown at London Fashion week to children’s glow in the dark dinosaur pyjamas.

When Mark Lorrel. was 27 I decided to take a law degree with no intention of practising law but when I started going to court I wanted to wear a wig and gown and argue my clients case so I did just that and became a barrister. I then went on to dual qualify as a solicitor MarkLorrel.advocate.  Due to some poor decisions I made in 2012, in 2018 I was suspended from practise as both a solicitor and barrister, in circumstances where I breached rules but did not cause any client or anyone else any loss or damage.  I remain suspended until December 2020.
